THE CHOIR
Crowthorne Choral Society has been part of the local community for over 50 years. Singers from Crowthorne and surrounding areas come to rehearse and perform great music.
NEW MEMBERS WELCOME
Auditions are not required. Please contact us, or come along and introduce yourself, and feel free to rehearse with us for up to two weeks before committing yourself to membership subscriptions.
EXCITING CONCERT SERIES
We are lucky enough to be led by Musical Director, Simon Williamson. The choir regularly collaborates with staff, student musicians and talented soloists from Wellington College, as well as professional musicians and soloists. We practice and perform from the whole of the choral repertoire, including the great choral works from the 17th century to the present day.
LOCAL AFFILIATIONS
Crowthorne Choral Society is affiliated to Making Music South. We also acknowledge with gratitude the facilities and continued support we receive from Wellington College.
CONCERT VENUES
Our association with the college gives us the opportunity to perform in the beautiful settings of The College Chapel and the GW Annenberg Performing Arts Centre. We also take part in local events such as carol singing.
